Mobile Application Privacy Policy
The primary licensor for The Conway National Bank’s mobile banking service is Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (the “Provider”). Provider may access personal information while you use its mobile application. Provider may ask for a mobile phone number or email address. Provider will use this contact information to alert you about app-related events or actions that require your attention. Mobile Banking Security
The mobile banking service (CNB2GO) utilizes best practices from online banking, such as HTTPS, 128-bit SSL encryption, password access, and application time-out when your phone is not in use. No account data is ever stored on your phone, and in the event your phone is lost or stolen, CNB2GO can be immediately disabled by either visiting the CNB Online Banking Website and changing your “Mobile Settings” or by calling CNB.
While CNB2GO has strong security measures in place, it would be prudent to follow some basic security tips to protect your information:
• Avoid storing sensitive information like passwords and social security numbers on your mobile device;
• Password protect your mobile device and lock it when you are not using it;
• Be aware of your surroundings. Do not type any sensitive information if others around you can see;
• Log out completely when you complete a CNB2GO session;
• Protect your phone from viruses and malware, just like you would for your computer, by installing mobile security software;
• Download and install updates for your phone and mobile apps;
• Use discretion when downloading mobile apps;
• Be mindful of phishing scams from texting, called smishing, which will compromise the device’s security and could allow cyber-criminals to obtain information that will result in online banking fraud;
• If you change your phone number, remember to update the “Mobile Settings” on your CNB Online Banking account from a PC as soon as possible;
• If your mobile device is lost or stolen, contact your cell phone provider and CNB as soon as possible;
• Monitor your accounts regularly and report suspicious activity to CNB immediately; and
• If any other questions, please call 843-488-8360 during regular banking hours.
